What is a Trust Deed?

Trust Deeds are a form of government legislation in Scotland designed to help Scottish residents clear unsecured debts over a fixed period of time, typically 3 Years.

The Trust Deed is constructed and managed by an Insolvency Practitioner, known as the Trustee.

Any new debts taken on after entering into a Trust Deed would not be protected in the same way as the debts held prior to the Trust Deed.
